Rock Scout Group has launched Cubs and Beaver Sections with the support of voluntary group of parents in the local area.   The group meets every Wednesday in   Rock for children aged 6-8 yrs (Beavers) and 8-10 yrs (Cubs).

On Wednesday 9 ^th February 2011, 18 young people, both boys and girls, were formally invested into the group by their Beaver Colony (Mrs Sarah Lang) and Cub Pack (Mr Nick Ware) Leaders. Invited guests included Parish Councillors Jay Bosanquet and Colin Barker, Reverent Philip Harrat, and Head teachers Mrs Avril Lomas and Mrs Lalage Bosanquet.  

During the next few weeks the children will participate in many rewarding and challenging activities including treasure hunting, code cracking, balloon flying and pulse taking, as well as learning about the meaning of the Easter.
